Ring the bells for Ring O’ Bells! Date: 22/05/2011

 

Spencer Swinden Design are proud to congratulate The Ring O’ Bells on their award as Chester’s ‘Pub of the Year, 2011’ at the Chester Food & Drink Awards.

Working closely with Ring O’ Bells retailer, Ian Wade of Modern British Taverns, Spencer Swinden Design was able to create a scheme that really focused on enhancing the existing period details and lovely character of the pub. A vibrant colour palette and quirky take on the classic ‘country pub’ theme gave a modern twist to the interior; whilst the exterior was turned into a multi-purpose garden space, suitable for use as an alfresco dining terrace, with a family lawn, picnic tables and a children’s play area that helped the Ring O’ Bells earn the accolade as Chester’s ‘Most Family Friendly Venue’ in previous years.

The Ring O’ Bells success and reputation is growing, with Ian showing dedication and a commitment to continually improve and invest in the future of the pub, taking it from strength to strength. Spencer Swinden are excited to continue our involvement in this process, with the latest scheme for the development of the garden set to be a sure winner!
