It may sound simple enough and it is. The first steps to using less water are easily achievable.
With water and sewerage costs rising by an average of 7% last year and prices set for review again this year the argument for future proofing against limited supplies and price rises has never been stronger.
In my mind there are only 3 ways to save water:
- Use less water to achieve a desired result by being more efficient.
- Recover used water for reuse where applicable.
- Collect naturally occurring water for use as required in the future.
Savings can be achieved in all 3 ways.
